So, how do you remove the windows without breaking them in order to strip the shell?

They appear to be glued in and I don’t want to break them and I am afraid that they would get messed up when I strip the shell.

    Any helpful hints?

How are you going to strip the shell. If they are glued in and you don't think you can easily pop them out (past experience says they will either pop loose or they are never coming out) just strip the shell with them in. If what you are using to strip the shell doesn't hurt the plastic, it shouldn't hurt the clear plastic either.

I was planning on soaking in alcohol. That’s what’s always worked for me before.

I was unsure if it would cloud or mar the clear plastic used for the windows.

Some manufacturers have the glass essentially press fit in the openings and you have to locate the end and gently pry out from there. And I have yet to have alcohol glaze up the window plastic. Most often the alcohol will loosen any glue keeping them in.
