I dunno what was the purpose of the train, maybe Uncle Pete and CSX are conspiring to begin a new stack train service, or just some higher-up's that are taking a trip over Sherman Hill....
CSX, at least down here, runs stack trains at passenger speeds. Our Section Foreman told me a few years back that container cars had passenger speed certified trucks. Of course, he could have been blowing smoke...but if you can't trust a Section Foreman, just who can you trust?

It may not show the grime, but the rust really stands out! I recently caught # 7500, which was the class unit, and it is looking very worn out. I still remember catching it when "new" in the stealth scheme. Harold
