    Hello

I saw some N scale guys putting on a display at the Columbus boat and RV show. They had a display of a lot of different scales. I saw the z scale and was intrigued. On assignment away from home right now. Sitting in a hotel room. Bought a Marklin freight starter set and had it sent to my hotel. I am hooked. My wife and I metRob Kluz at his shop (wow) and got more. My wife wants to start a set without me :( . Reading everything I can while the trains run on my hotel coffee table.

    Welcome to TrainBoard! :)

Yes, I agree Z-scale is intriguing for sure. I've studied one such layout each year at the Medford, Or rail expo. Unfortunately, I'm in HO and HOn3 and it's a little late for me to try moving to a new scale.

I hope your wife and you enjoy. Take some photos and post them here when you get the chance. We would like to watch the progress.

    Welcome Aboard!
I try to persuade my wife every other week to tinker with some scenery...she's nibbled a couple of times but mostly says "it's your hobby"

If I can just get her hooked I see the ability to buy more N scale gadgets in my Future...:D

Wish you well in your new hobby.

Thanks for the welcomes everybody! My wife wants to make the rock scene from MidweZt HaulerZ in the July/August issue of Ztrack. I think it is our hobby now.
