Hans, looking forward to getting one to repaint in ARR, silver main color. We watched these go by up in Alaska with a beautiful backdrop of ocean and mountains. I believe they still run them. Karin
I tried to post more photos, but the system would not upload it. Expect to see a lot of railroads including: ATSF, SP (even if they only had one), WP, NYC, NH and CP for starters.
Hans, you can email them to me, and I will post them for you. My email address is jmui@bellsouth.net. Another way is to open a Railimage account, and upload the pictures to Railimage.
I forgot about the one SP had. Ok OK I'm getting one of those. It would be nice if that model came with the 3 chime horn and numberboards. What scheme will the SP RDC be in? I hope it's the early scheme. Very nice work!
Hans, I am glad to see that you are continuing to support the Northeastern roads. Keep up the great work. Dan S.
That is a great addition for some spur lines. I was thinking about making a sub-set of the Z-Bend Track standard to create "Freemo" double or single tracks off the mainline. Would make for a great local line run. Rob Ray, print me some decals and I'll take my airbrush over to paint it .
Now, is it too early to ask, but how is the pilot mounted? To the body itself, or "Con-Cor" style like the N-scale RDC's that are attached to the trucks? Most of these ran single, so if they are body mounted, that would be ok, but multible units might not stay coupled on a tight radious. And when are the Great Northern's coming out?!
