    Hello to anyone who may be interested,

    I might get in trouble for posting this, but there are some peoples here on TrainBoard.com who are interested in The North Arkansas Line.

    The Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railroad (ES&NA RR) Historical & Restoration Society will be rebuilding one of the only Wooden Railroad Trestle built on The North Arkansas Line (The Missouri & North Arkansas Railroad). The Railroad Trestle Work Days start this coming weekend (Nov., 6 & 7, 2010) and will continues for every weekends in Nov., Dec., & Jan., Time is from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Railroad Trestle is call Railroad Trestle #78-7. We, The Society, are in process of clearing out all the trees and brushs and after we get finish we will start the rebuilding of this Railroad Trestle. This Railroad Trestle #78-7 is in process of getting register on The Arkansas Register of Historic Places, I am working on getting all the paper works ready to be sent in.

    Note to all who planned on coming: All vehicles need to be rear-wheels or four-wheels drive trucks, not suitable for front-wheels cars. No Lunch, Snacks or Drinks will be available, need to bring own lunch, snacks and drinks or extra money for eating lunch at near by restaurants and for getting drinks or snacks at near by stores. There will Restrooms available at near by house and at The Aviation Cadet Museum at Silver Wings Field Airport. Need to bring own Yard Tools, such as Chain Saws, along with gas & oil, Hand Saws, Trees Limb Hand Chippers and etc...

    As I live in Florida I can not attend your trestle rebuild. Neat sounding project. I read the book on the Missouri & North Arkansas. Also painted and lettered two HO scale freight cars for the M&NE. Yours, Elvin Howland/Layout Concepts
