Does anybody know if its going to be restored to steam or cosmetic and later to steam? I was recentley at the Railroaders Memorial Musuem and saw its drivers, cab, and tender. Any updates of the engine will be good.

Sadly, the state you saw her in is the state she's been in for quite a few years. Last words I heard were "To Steam", but at this point, the world would be doing good to get "assembled"

This "project" has had much coverage on other sites. It has been sadly mismanaged and dragged out much longer than intended. I think there are some political issues with the management of the museum at Juniata and other groups. It was fairly well along until someone proclaimed that the Belpair design was faulty (imagine that after Pennsy ran literally thousands of Belpair equipped engines for years and years!) The Steamtown operation did not help much in finishing the job. Last I heard, the Museum is taking the locomotive back, in pieces. First it was for cosmetic only restoration but now there is talk of some limited steam operations, that is, if they ever get it back together. :tb-sad:
