I have two Atlas "GOLD" GP-40's that I am trying to reset programming. I was able to reset the CV's with the majic wand - I think. The sound comes on both - one will sound horn, bell, etc. and when you increase throttle the engine revs up but goes no where. The other unit has sounds but neither will respond to #3 address or 4 digit address - What am I missing I have a Digitrax Super Chief system
Try selecting the F 10 on your throttle. It should tell you in what state the locomotive is in. Run, Disconnect, ect. Anything other than run, it will not move. Anything other than Run, try pressing F 6 to get it there. There is a CV setting you can use to reset the loco (at least on my Dash 8’s), you have to do some digging in the manuals to find out which one. Also, when you used the want did you hear the voice say reset? I very much like the Atlas QSI locos but they can be quirky sometimes! Good luck,
