Printing an ALCO

    Ok, I got my reprints in and the difference is night and day. I will try to find time to shoot a coat of primer this weekend and post the pics. Thanks for the advice on orientation Matthew, it paid off.

    Well, I am sure that the Atlas and Bachmann releases will change things a bit but something to consider would be to offer the S4 cab with sealed windows separate from the rest of the shell for those who would want to do a later version (or a truly accurate T6 with the GHQ shell). It is something to consider anyways...

    I got mine today, they look great . As we speak they are taking a bath , hopefully I'll get them primed tonite. A week till payday .. are a couple of fairbanks locomotives in my future ?

    Maybe it was dropped because Bachmann is doing the ALCo S-4 now.

    It was available until quite recently, I believe it got dropped because shape ways changed the standard as to what thicknesses were printable and it would have required a redesign. Kind of pointless given the availability of factory models. Sad though, I built one of the first kits and loved the results... It was a great kit.
