Gordon, You have way more patience then I do. I also know the CSX version will probably be release in 2010, so for now I just stick a decal from a label maker. I never have patience, so I need my instant gratification.

I was lookin at some of the northern road schemes, and came to the conclusion that repainting in the GN Black, White, and Blue gould be done easy enough:

And Burlington Chineese Red should not be too hard:

But I am planing on supertetailing then painting mine in BN Green with torpedo tubes:

And with a little Dynamic Braking and a few other mods i might be able to turn out a GP39E like this:

This is the one I really want ... although those in the photos above would be nice as well

    wouldn't mind these either:

then you'd have to do this for good measure:

The BNSF is going to be expensive. I counted at least six colors.

A few years ago, American Z Line offered a small run of F45s in the 'Kodachrome' paint scheme. They were sold out immediately! This would be a fun one to see on the GP35, but only after a few ATSF, BN, GN, etc... first.

So, the game is on... Who is going to be the first to to be running their new GP? Come on, even though PRR is not your road of choice, How many are getting one anyways? [IMG]

I have 2 coming. I hope they show tomorrow, but with my luck, it will be Tuesday, when I have to go back to work. I might even just go to my LHS this weekend, and pay full retail, just so I can have one in my greasy little hands to play with this weekend. [IMG]

my bank account is going to shoot me.

Great! I am so glad you received the loco. That was the last BN SD45 AZL had in inventory. Enjoy it!

I also have one of the GP35 on order. I had to have one. I personally like the PRR so this worked for me. I can't wait to tet run it. I am sure we will have a review in Ztrack.

Bank accounts shoots blanks. Wives shoots real bullets. Some how, I need to sneak the GP-35 into the house without her finding out.
Whenever she ask me about a new engine. I always respond with, I had that engine for years.

Nothing wrong with them. The issue was that AZL offered then the same year as the SD45s. Everyone went with the SD45s first. We are starting to see SD40-2s get very low on inventory and we will start selling out of roadnames soon. For instance, the SD40-2 snoot nose versions and the UP and SP SD40T-2 are already sold out. Also note, the SD40-2 run is more heavy on East Coast names such as Conrail, CSX and NS.

It was interesting, but I did see more SD40-2s running during the NTS than C44s and SD45s.

That only works for a year or so, then you need new tactics, like, I traded that old european loco to a collector online, and got 3 of these! :D
