Have looked at these for years and just finally made time to get a couple of photos. The tracks are long gone but it's very evident where they were at. Sorry about the sideways view Have always found these of such a great variety on a theme, lets see what you've found out there.
This might interest you: http://www.country-grain-elevator-historical-society.org/about.html About fifteen years ago, a local museum hosted an exhibition of photos by a gentleman named Bruce Selyem. Google his name, along with "grain elevator" and you'll get all kinds of pictures.
They were always very unique structures and fun to model. However, one by one they seem to be disappearing around here. Shoot em while you can.
Found this one back in August at the ghost town of Thelen, ND, between Beach and Golva. The old Ollie/ Carlisle branch went through here.
