    I took some pictures on the prairies this summer.
    Here is a CN freight in BIG SKY country. Taken from the campground at Rosetown Saskatchewan. Not many trees here.

    It was interesting to see a couple of GCFX locos
    I almost missed them as the train did not stop
    6042 is an SD40-3 The grey striped with orange is sure different.

    Thanks for the praire shots Robin. Come to think of it, that first one looks like southern Lincolnshire - between Spalding and Peterborough, we can get a similar view, just on a smaller scale!

    Thanks for the great prairie shots. Loved my years out in Man/Sask. The train watching was excellent.

    If anyone gets a chance to visit the Rivers area it won't disappoint.
