Thanks for the link. This is one of the one's on my "wish list" I like some of the sheds (you can't have too many.) The Milchwerk is the kind of industry I am interested in. I would prefer another material for a building this large, styrene or polybak. I like to add details and reconfigure doors, windows, walls, etc...I don't think paper works if you are interested in customizing. Archistories seems to be the exception. Their kits use different thicknesses of paper as well as wood veneer to give their kits a more realistic 3-D look. I look forward to building other paper kits. Jim

Hi, Frank. Here is an early attempt by me to make an American style industry from available European kits. The parts are from Kibri, Marklin and Vollmer. The Vollmer kit is built entirely from the kit. It always looked more like N scale so I never used it. This "industrial complex" was built in 95-'96. I intend to re-visit it and add an additional building where trains can entire and disappear into a staging yard. I will add lights and other details, a gantry crane and truck loading ramp. One of the major players in Z was working on something very similar to this a couple of years ago. (a slightly larger version but same basic architecture) I was in N at the time and provided a bunch of photos to spur it along as an N version was also part of it. But life got in the way and I'm not sure it will ever see the light of day. I would definitely like to see something like this, too.

There is a paper kit post office on eBay but it is more of a very rural/convenience store looking structure. (in fact, I bought one to use as a convenience store with some minor signage alterations but yet to put it together)
