Anyone else reluctant to order from an outfit that won't post its physical address, email address or telephone number?

 

The address and phone number are on the web site. It is an online train store that I operate out of my house. so other than being rude what else do you want to know?

 

Do you offer any discounts? Reason I am asking is what I was looking at was retail price if I read it correctly. Most others have it for less.

It's not on the home page, nor the contact page, nor the about us page, nor the sales policies page.
Calling a potential customer rude is no way to generate or establish a business.

 

Come on guys! I don't see what the problem is here. We are all here because we like this hobby. There are so few of us in this world that we should stick together and be friendly with one another. Why make a big deal about nothing?

If you don't like reading about PnP Hobbies don't click on the thread if you already know what it’s going to be about. One of the important parts of this site (in my opinion) is for us to push our hobby forward and share ideas and products with one another. If you look at PnP's posts, he is doing just that.

This is a small home business which might not have a lot of capital for advertising, so here is what he has at his disposal for the time being. Word of mouth is an important part of marketing. Through PnP posts (and others) I have found items and services that I can’t get anywhere else (IE, a custom Amtrak Cascades set).

If you have a concern about the location of his business (or any other concern). Why don’t you send him a PM so he can have a chance to correct it before calling him out in front of all of us? Criticize in private, praise in public.

Did you bother to look on the Facebook page which is what I assume that the FB means? And gentlemen what is the issue? This is a small home based start up business that has been in operation for at least a year, and maybe a little more, and is one of the sponsers that helps pay some of the bills here. It is strictly a web based business just like EBAY and I find that the information gievn out is adequate for me to do business with the firm. And for your information other businesses also post occassional anouncements here.

From the way this is going I strongly suggest that a Moderator shut this thread down and lock it.
