Has anyone besides MRC come out with a Plug and Play DCC Sound Decoder for F, E, and PA units? Not real thrilled with MRC sound quality.
There are the Digitrax sound decoders which are "plug and play" as well, but neither the MRC nor Digitrax decoders have the higher quality sounds (or speakers) which most folks using sound are getting. ESU has pseudo drop in boards (fit nicely on some units, may not on others), but there is still fitting a speaker on board. For F/E/PA units, particularly Katos, adding a wired ESU LokSound or Zimo sound decoder is not that difficult.
