Hi all, have some 3Dprinted vehicles I've had for a bit and need to start working on them. They are solid so going to need to have the windows painted. I've done this in the past using a very dark blue and then rubbing a pencil over that. Looking for other suggestions. So how would you do this?

Tamiya makes some clear paints (red, yellow. green, blue, orange, maybe others) that do a good job of replicating tinted glass. I've used the green for tinting windows on passenger cars, and the orange for painting cast metal rotary beacons. I've been happy with the results. Been thinking about trying to use the blue to do what you are trying to do..............maybe paint white or silver and then put the clear tint over it.

Think I would try a light gray and then the clear tint. That's usually what I see unless the vehicle has a brightly colored interior.

Here is a tube video, I think he uses a little too much light blue but they look good.
