That third picture looks really good to me. The clarity, exposure, perspective and subject are all excellent in my opinion. And speaking of third, that third locomotive looks green with envy at the front two...
Found an old photo of a Santa Fe cub scout from the 1980s. I was using crappy negative film and cheap processing at that time.
From 06/13/1997 at Grants NM, FP-45 95. In 1999 she was donated to the Western America Railroad Museum at Barstow. When I was a kid and saw these in photos, I thought they were the coolest things on wheels. I still think they look mighty sharp.
A '51 Ford F1 back there. We had a '50 which was pretty much identical except for the grille. Although I took my driver test in my Dad's '66 Caddy, the pickup was the first vehicle I drove most. One time, I pulled into a local restaurant to eat and there was a truck driver sitting at a booth at the windows and he saw me walk in. He said, "If you can drive one of those, you can drive a semi. I never did drive a semi but I did drive a large box truck and did pretty well, backing into fairly tight situations, if I do say so, myself. Doug
