I discovered some old microscale decals (aproximately 7 years old). I went ahead and tried to use some and they disintegrated almost instantly. Is there away to salavage these or are they a loss..should i go ahead and spend the $5 or so to repalce them?
Get some Microscale Liquid Decal Film, part MI-12: http://www.microscale.com/Merchant2...e=MI-12&Category_Code=FINPROD&Product_Count=6 Brush some over the decal(s) you want to use, and let dry. Then you can cut them out and apply them normally; the film prevents them from disintegrating.
You could spray them with Dullcote/Glosscote. I have had success salvaging decals with that. I have never tried the MS Liquid Decal film.
