    The wooden grain elevators and depot here in Des Lacs, ND are long gone, but the tower to a steam-era water tank stubbornly resists change. Amtrak itself has a questionable future, so I documented both last week.

    I bet some of those sticks of rail at the left are some antiques as well, from an earlier age.

    Hardcoaler, I missed your request. Started doing some fanning with Bill Killion, who was active on here and was engineer on one of the shortlines, but Bill passed away. I attended quite a few that Martin Hansen organized and often ran into the same fans on those. I Actually have an album on here that I forgot about with fan shots on it.
