Thanks Harold, I think it is one of the old Planters plants in the background. It was taken directly across from the Suffolk depot. An awsome spot for watching trains!

Here's a NS cab I caught back in 1993. I dated in wrong on the pic. The interior was stripped off all except the bay seats, toolbow & stationary cabinet. 2x4's lined the walls for additional seating. Jonathan

As far as I know, all of the ex-Sou cabs converted for ballast use are all gone. I could be wrong on this. There are three regular Sou cabs in NC still in use that I know of.
