NS 5553 released with new paint scheme

    Norfolk Southern released "GP38-2" rebuild 5553 from Altoona this past Saturday. This is the first unit to wear the new NS paint scheme including the new logo, a solid white frame stripe and the area around the numberboards painted white.

    The images are only available to members of the site between 8am and 8pm PST (highest traffic time). However , between 8pm and 8am PST the images are available to all who wish to view them.

    Thanks for the clarification, however, 8 PM PST = 11 PM my time (EST) and I am usually in bed; however, I may get to sneak a peak one morning ;)

    Harold, you either need to 1.) Stay up late, 2.) Get up early, or 3.) Pay the one-time $7.00 Trainorders.com registration fee and become a member.... :D

    I didn't realize that I had to scroll down to the bottom of the page till I tried it three times! :rolleyes:

    Looks sharp. I love the horse in the lettering, it looks the same, only different, hehe.

    I don't (#1) stay up late because I (#2) get up early :D Due to the ice storm and power outages, I was off from work today and took the opportunity to check out the photos. Thanks for the link.
