NS 5553 released with new paint scheme

Norfolk Southern released "GP38-2" rebuild 5553 from Altoona this past Saturday. This is the first unit to wear the new NS paint scheme including the new logo, a solid white frame stripe and the area around the numberboards painted white.

The images are only available to members of the site between 8am and 8pm PST (highest traffic time). However , between 8pm and 8am PST the images are available to all who wish to view them.

I didn't realize that I had to scroll down to the bottom of the page till I tried it three times!

Looks sharp. I love the horse in the lettering, it looks the same, only different, hehe.

 

I got it to come up.It does look better than what we are riding around in now.
