Hi I joined the forum the other day and keep seeing the message to make my first post, so here it goes. First of all, I am an N scaler, secondly a T-TRAK modeler, thirdly jumping into DCC and having all sorts of issues with my altlas GP35 decoder installs, forthly freelance model CP with my late teenage memories when I loaded box cars by hand in the early seventies in B.C. and hoping to get some operations going on the layout I have a small number of locos (my wife says too many!), mostly Atlas GP35 and Kato SD40-2 diesel locos, an RS11, trainmaster H2-66, and a couple of others. These pull a selection of box cars, coal cars, wheat hopplers, few container cars, and some others. Also had some some heavy weight passenger cars repainted for CPR. Only have three working steam locs, an old arnold 4-6-2, minitrix 2-10-0, and atlas shay. Not inclued is a pommie steam loco and 4 cars. I will be posting some questions about decoder installs soon, and putting my two cents in where I think I can contribute.:tb-biggrin:
Welcome aboard! Its good to see other N-scalers (as this is an N-scale forum). I have had a love afair with trains since I was about 10 years old. I started in HO & when I was 28 I broke into N-scale. About 5 year ago I started kitabashing & scratchbuilding locos, cars, & buildings. I to broke into DCC about 2 months ago & im glad I did. I use the DCC system from NCE. I actually set up my layout to run as DC or DCC. My track #2 (currently being instaled) will be a DC track only. So wolcome & ask away, there are alot of tallented modelers here.
Welcome, there are some great minds here who can sure help with anything it seems, and relative newbies like myself who glean information from others threads and questions
