I agree that "Train-Board" should promote it's sponsors..........but it seems a little counter productive to support the sponsors to the detriment of the members. I thought that was a perfectly innocent link............that had to do mostly with TOY trains for little ones. I agree with one of the other posters........I will support "TB" sponsors IF I CHOOSE, NOT because I'm expected to. They will get my business the same way anybody else does, with good service and competitive pricing. I must say that the one "TB" advertiser that I attempted to do business with a while back was rude & ugly to me by email because he didn't take the time or effort to understand what I wanted. He consequently lost about a $1k sale and ANY of my future business.
I have to agree with nscalerone If this is the way the rules about referencing vendors are going to be handled, then I have to seriously wonder what the point of this website is?
