    Hello all,

Bought some N scale stuff about 16+ years ago and was about to start on a 4' x 8' layout when my wife became pregnant with our second son, so that room became his bedroom. And the train stuff went into boxes and hasn't seen the light of day since. :-(

We went as a family a couple of weekends ago to a train show here in Houston and would like to get something going.

Space is a premium though so I am on the lookout for the smallest roundy-round(?) I can build (2' x 3'?) that would also let me run two trains unattended.

I'm hoping if I can make something decent then maybe one day I can build something a little larger. :)

I look forwarding to learning some stuff from this site. Thank you for having me.

    - Marc

Welcome aboard. I think most of us can sympathize with the "life happens" aspect of your story. As for getting back to modelling, perhaps you may want to consider some form of modular construction? We have a group dedicated to T-Trak modelling, as well as a very long-running thread on the subject in the N scale forum. The ability to easily put up and take down a layout may be appealing...

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

I'm glad to see that Mike has suggested a look at T-Trak. It has great potential for the space challenged.

Hi Marc, Welcome "back" into N-Scale. I think modular is great way to go while space is at a premium.
