    Hi everyone!

    New to the board, and will spend lots of time looking around for sure. Finished my schooling so now I've got time to get started (again) with my HO dreams. Now to figure out how to get started, I've got a couple of 4X6 sheets of plywood, and a 2X8 sheet sitting around. Maybe a start with the 2X8 and build from there?

    2X8 would be a good start. A switching type layout? Good way to practice, learn, get more ideas...
