Thanks for the heads up, Bill. This will be in Not The Same Colour (NTSC) format, unfortunately. We use PAL Downunder. Maybe it's time to bite the bullet and get that multi-system VCR afterall? Gary. ------------------ Gary A. Rose The Unofficial TC&W page N to the Nth degree!
Hi Gary, maybe check with Chris and see if he could do it up in your format. I don't know what capabilities he has, but he's really good to deal with. I've got quite a few of his other videos, including CNW, and I really enjoy them. Not a lot of glitz, just real down-to-earth railroading! Bill ------------------ ship SOO!
Thanks, Bill. I do have a couple of Railroad 'home videos' in NTSC currently. The number of videos that appear here in PAL are few. If it is the big roads, it will probably be converted. Small roads? Not likely. I want to get hold of a new TC&W vid that's recently been released and that will be in NTSC anyway. Gary. ------------------ Gary A. Rose The Unofficial TC&W page N to the Nth degree!
Good thought, Bill. It would have to be a VCD, or mixed mode CD-ROM. Gary. ps. Got a couple of N Scale non-dyn SD40-2's on the boil currently... undec of course. Cutting down the Atlas winter hatches to suit currently. Going to be red/white - one might make the parallelogram scheme! G.
A quickly thrown together page. Not about videos, though http://www.pnc.com.au/~audiosat/models/projects/soosd40_2.htm Gary
Gary, very nice detailing! They look great. Can't wait for the follow-up on the GP30/35 tanks. I hope you don't mind, I added it to the links section of the SOO Line Club, to share your detailing and work with others. Thanks again, Bill ------------------ ship SOO!
Gary, just a thought..... would it make sense for you to start a new thread with the SD40-2s page? As you continue with the project, maybe you could then add to that same thread, kinda like progress reports. I'm worried that those who visit this SOO forum, and have no interest in videos, might miss it. And it's too good to miss! Thanks, Bill p.s. I thought about doing it, but don't want to steal your thunder! It really is a different topic. ------------------ ship SOO!
You have a good point, Bill. I put it up for a look-see. It should go up in the N Scale forum, actually. Gary. [This message has been edited by Gats (edited 09 August 2000).]
