David, Do you still make the n scale fox knowles speaker enclosure? The Shapeways link says the size is in: 0.864 w x 1.417 d x 0.413 h. The 1.417" d (length?) looks too long.
It should be correct according to the spec sheet. I will have to test the dimension when I get home. It should fit properly, as it has already been test printed.
The dimensions listed on the Shapeways link are incorrect for the Knowles Fox speaker. I just measured one and they are: .413 wide x .690 long x .164 high In fact, both speaker enclosure dimensions are listed incorrect. I have both and they fit perfect. Harold
I assume that there may be some error in the shapeways dimensions, you must also consider the wall thickness. Papahnash, would you be willing to take some photos of the speaker enclosures alone and with the speakers installed? Right now I only have the speaker enclosure types together in the same photo. Also, I would like to gauge interest on a new idea. Would anyone be interested in purchasing speaker enclosures with the speakers pre-installed and sealed, as well as tested? (with leads attached). David
Please let me know when the updated speaker enclosures will be ready for order. The 1.417" length dimension will definitely not fit in 4 axle diesels so want to be sure to get the correct size. Preference-wise I will buy and assemble the speakers. I appreciate having the enclosure available.
Those speaker enclosures are correct in size... you mus consider that they are in a 10-pack on shapeways, and shapeways is actually measuring a pack of 10. Does that help?
