New Passenger service Vancouver-Whistler, and Whistler-Jasper

    CN has awarded Great Canadian Railtours the contract for passenger service between Vancouver and Jasper via the old BC Rail line to Prince George. RMR is creating two new trains, the Vancouver-Whistler "Whistler Mountaineer" and the Whistler-Jasper "Fraser Discovery Route". Service is expected to be in full operation by 2006.

    Sure sounds like good news!

    Will this service to Whistler be something along the same lines as the Ski Trains of past years?

    I assume it will be a similar service to the Rocky Mountaineer.
