At a local model railroading event in town this past weekend, there was a booth for a new museum trying to raise funds to begin construction and restoration in Granby, CO. They need our help to raise the funds to build the 8000 Sq. Ft. Building, and later, a 4000 Sq. Ft. Layout of the D&SL in the early 1900's. Please at least visit the site, and possibly if possibly donate. Moffat Road Railroad Museum ~ Granby, Colorado
When I come back to the states, I MUST visit this museum. I hope they plan on building "The Hill", the serpentine kinks at old Tunnels 9 and 17, and Tunnel 28 before it was daylighted!
