Hi: Just joined group. I model German trains in TT and N and American trains in HO. Have just started a 2' x 3' layout using vintage Rapido track and a layout from the 1967 Rapido track-layout book. It's nice but only vintage Rapido cars work on it without un-coupling.

Welcome aboard! My old drummer used to model German and Russian trains in HO and some American in N, while I'm all-American (O/HO/N as a kid, N-scale all the way today!). Hope you enjoy it here as much as I do. :)

Welcome aboard! I would love to see your TT scale items. That is a scale we don't see to often in the States.

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

We've be interested in anything you'd care to share of your modeling. As Jim noted, TT, too! We actually have several TT folks who post now and then. Their topics are in the Inspection Pit Forum.

I made a short video of my TT layout but I can't post it until I've been a member 3 days. In the mean time, here's a snapshot I took of (l-r) an N scale Mini-Trix TR-3, a TT scale BR-81, some TT cars, and a Marklin HO scale V-80. It might give you some idea of TT scale in relationship to the other scales.

Hi Exaguy, Welcome to the TrainBoard. Looking forward to seeing your layout. The last TT I remember seeing was on a club layout at my Father's company almost 60 years ago.
