Delta yard Everett Washington State
Don't know why BNSF doesn't just have this scheme for all locos, seems more cost efficient, and the newer locos with silver chassis don't hold up when after a few miles. Look dirty...
What's the new job gonna' be, btw?
Crew shuttle driver
Actually those are silver trucks lol yes they get very grungy
For those of us that don't know what a Crew Shuttle driver does, like me, can you explain further. A vehicle or a locomotive that you shuttle crew with? And congratulations seems like you are happy about this?
When a crew dies on hours I'm the one that takes a company suburban with a fresh crew to replace the crew that is out of hours so technically I'm an engineers engineer
I then return the out of hours crew back to the terminal and or a motel depending on my orders
So I get paid to railfan lol
Very happy y'all very very happy
This company is a large contractor, including crew shuttle service for BNSF.
Nope Hallcon out of Lenexa Kansas
They're all over the Carolinas too. In fact, I've seen their vans on the Interstate and once followed one to a train.
Another time I stopped somewhere to railfan and talked to the PTI Driver while we waited for the train to arrive. He was pretty frustrated. CSX told him to go to "A" and upon arriving there, told him to instead drive another 50 Miles to "B" and upon arriving there, told him to go back to "A".
Yahoo. Keep your camera handy! Several people I know that work around aircraft have learned to keep theirs nearby cause you just never know when the light is right!!!
Oh I know this is a true foamers job lol
OJT tomorrow looking forward to this
Good luck Vince!! Hope it goes great!
Find out lol
For your entertainment y'all
Thirsty fill me up lol
Passed my OJT
Now waiting on corporate approval
