Having moved my Eurogallery from Homestead to Trainweb, it is now taking shape. I just uploaded more photographs, including this one from the Swiss gallery [ 23 December 2001: Message edited by: Alan ]
Alan, You certainly know how to hurt people......all those tempting Swiss thumbnails and only a few viewable full-size. Come on Alan, burn the midnight oil.....I'm certain there are some that I haven't seen before. Keep up the good work, John. P.S. I have updated my link to your site.
OK John, I will do my best to get some more Swiss pics up I have loads of them, but am trying to get a few from each country first, then keep adding extras. I WILL get there in the end
Thanks Alan on behalf of all Swissophiles..... Great photos. I don't know if you keep abreast of what's happening in Switzerland nowadays but 2 of the BLS Ae8/8's are back at work hauling spoil trains for the new Lotschberg Tunnel after being in store for a number of years at Spiez. Also the vintage Ae6/8 no.205 has been fully restored and has been working freights around Bern. Just for info: I am getting the dreaded red cross when I try to view your shot of the SBB RE6/6 at Kandersteg..... It should be a white cross really Take care, John.
The Re6/6 is "back on track"! (Thought I had checked all the links)! Good to hear about the Ae6/8's, they are wonderful old machines I have been out of touch with Swiss happenings recently, but just started taking "Todays Railways" magazine again, to try to catch up on all things European! Lots more Swiss pics almost ready for publishing. [ 23 December 2001: Message edited by: Alan ]
