SHS has announced a new Bay Window caboose. It will be a welded caboose, a contemporary of their Extended Vision caboose. The prototype was modeled after the Erie bay window, but it will have a more common square bay window rather than the odd angled sides like the model produced by American Models. It will have the same roller bearing trucks as the EV model and Stainless Steel roof walks. The good news to go along with it is; SHS will have the caboose made to have different side panels to match other prototype roads. This could be interesting. When Iw as working at PC&F, one of many cars we built, was an order of EV cabooses for BN and the Milw. I wonder how close these might be..........? If it is a good match for the PC&F, even though after my selected time frame, I may be tempted! Boxcab E50

Don at SHS stated that they have the drawings finished but need to finish up some other projects first. I've seen the SHS EV caboose and it is a beaut. Greg
