    Afternoon all,

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I've run into an unexpected problem with this year's Christmas train and need some help finding a source for a DC transformer. I've somehow misplaced an LGB transformer that I've used on this train in the past and need to find something new fairly quickly. I'm running an Aristo Little Critter this year instead of an Eggliner for motive power and have four flat cars and a caboose that need to run upwards of 18 hours a day until New Years. There are two very tight turns in the run but all the rolling stock seems to handle it quite well. Since we had to put it together a week early on short notice I pulled an old MRC transformer off my HO road hoping it might be able to handle the load. It's iffy, and I'm not confident it will run all day every day. Since most of my equipment is second hand and I use battery power at home I've not needed a new transformer. Where is a good source to purchase one at a reasonable price, preferably no more than $75-100 that will run a single engine train for long periods? I'm unlikely to use it again until next year when it will be called upon to do the same job. I absolutely must have this train up and running by Wednesday about noon. The big unveiling is Wednesday at 5 and is usually well attended. I'm going to feel like a moron if the train doesn't run. Anyone know a good source or does anyone have one they might sell? I know we don't discuss retailers here so my email is f2shooter@hotmail.com Thanks for any information or aid on this problem.

The Aristo might not be happy with twelve volts but an LGB would. Different efficiencies and motors.

I borrowed a couple of Bridgewerks small units for the display that goes "live" tonight.
Only things that will run Botchman locos faster than a crawl with train attached.

Sent you an e-mail with three links to new and used less than $75..I think.
