I know most people would NOT want this option. But I miss from my Bachmann EZ Command Controller being able to kill all locomotives with one button :) Once again I understand why others would not want it. Originally I thought that is what the Stop button did? It does not. Only kills the locomotive selected. It's mainly cause I have a small 2' x 4' layout and things, cause of me, can get kind of crazy. And Yes it is completely my fault. Just saying!

mrc has the capability of killing the selected loco or all locos ,,, just depends if you hit the button once or twice rapidly .. the prodigy advanced anyways

I actually have one and that's what I did last night when I realized I would not be able to switch to each locomotive and STOP them individually in time. Once again, totally my fault for having so many things running on a small 2' x 4' layout. But you have to play sometimes, or it would not be fun :) Or dangerous.

Mine looks like this. Hit it with my foot, NO Power. Works great too! Have 2 of them usually hooked up, one for DCC, lights, and one for AC for switches/tur outs!

Cheap too, after Christmas clearance :) Been using them for years. Although the one you posted looks like a switch to Power Down a Nuclear Reactor and cool looking :) I'll stick with what I have. Just wish the NCE PowerCab button could be programmed to Kill ALL! It is, what it is!

Wonder IF the NCE PowerCab will do that IF you hit it Twice? Time to research! That would be cool!

I don't know what these are, but don't have these models!

"On a CS02 / Powerhouse Pro / Power Pro system ONLY: A third press will shut the entire command station down and turn off track power. The full system wide Estop is only available in the PH Pro command stations. To re enable track power the system must then be turned off then back on again."

    Oh well!

This is just too cool looking. Wonder how hard it would be to wire up? Don't need it, but want it :)

I have a HCD layout....I would put 1 on each side (so 4 total)
The 2 wires (bus) could go in series through each one before feeding the rails
Or each one could actuate a relay that would power the rails ON or OFF

Yeah I basically have the same thing with the Christmas extension cord, but that just looks so cool :) Already looked for a smaller version and they make them :) It really would be just a waste of money, but.., it would look cool :) But I am good for now!

Can you provide the link for the smaller version?

At the time 3 locomotives on a 2' x 4' layout. I have an outer loop and an inner loop, and two sets of switches on each side, the two closest to me, diverge into the inner loop and the two against the wall diverge to the outer loop. Someone was running them too fast first all, and NOT paying attention, and had too much rolling stock for each locomotive, when NOT paying attention. When I am it's not a big deal at all. You know how it goes, right? If I am being honest, it's also happened when it's just locomotives too :) I will say it is very rare cause usually I am very careful, usually!

I drank a fifth, I mean take the Fifth on the Kato ES44DC, that diverged OFF the track, hit a table and then landed on the carpet. I really don't remember it very clearly, I have amnes...blocked it out :)

The word was amnesia, incase you are wondering :)

My VERY low-tech NCE Power Cab emergency stop for everything... pull the power connector from the base of the hand unit. Since the Power Cab functions as both booster and controller, "pulling the plug" shuts down power to everything. Note that this will NOT work with the NCE Pro Cab or if the Power Cab is used with a separate booster (ie: is being used as a ProCAB)!
