    That's a lot of browsing!

I have finished my Katy F7 for good(needed a black roof) and I got some more wagons to play with. The ex-Soo unit will be Rock Island 4150, an ex-UP F9 #503 with the snowplow from the PNW area(thanks Nick Lorusso for pointing me to these plows!). The E6 is going to be Rock Island 630 as delivered from the factory. In the process of getting the correct diameter main headlight and I added the lower HL.

That was the best green paint scheme any railroad ever applied. Nice!

Great guard rails. Can you tell me the evergreen styrene sizes and shapes you used?
    Thanks , Mike

    Hi Mike

I used evergreen Strip Styrene U- Profile CHANNEL .080" 2 mm for de Guardrail.

The poles are evergreen Strip Styrene 111B .015 x .030

What are you using to glue it all together? When I work with styrene that small, I seem to have adhesive problems.

Denise wanted a small corral for some horses on the Triple D Farm and ranch...so I painted and installed this N scale Architect fence and gate...I like the gate but the fence is far too 'flimsy', and truthfully looks a little small for this type of corral fence...I even added evergreen styrene strip to the posts to give it some 'beef'....

While building my ranch complex I had the same thought about the etched brass fence from two different suppliers. I also ended up taking some suitable sized styrene strips and then cutting and ACCing the new more to scale fence posts onto the brass ones. Nice scene and work.

Can you tell us where the prototype station is/was located? What I see here is making me think of a couple places in the vicinity of Iowa?

Indeed, Iowa. My depot is based on the depot of Rockford, Iowa. Not a 100% reproduction, but I hope that my model will have the look and feel of its prototype.
