tehachapifan - yes I actually have 2 Alps printer and a stock of cartridges. Got them both from eBay from somewhere over in China. Well worth the investment. I also have another - an MD1000 - that doesn't put the cartridge back for some reason. It just stopped doing it one day.
Put your final number boards in your photo file click edit and resize to what ever you want. It takes some fiddling to get it the size you want but it works.
