OK....so what IS the correct color scheme for a Denver & Rio Grande F7? Did MTL do it right? The top photo is of the MTL Z scale version. Bill K.
This scheme looks like the MTL model: And this one looks like the Intermountain one: I wish someone made add on air horns, and window glass to update the F7 shells. -Robert
I did not do any research on D&RG but these prototype photo's look like F9's with the key identifier being a grill in front of the round portals. -Robert
Micro-Trains did the later version it looks like from the late 60's on and into the 70's when they ran their own Zephyr after post-Amtrak period.
