Has anyone moved their headlights on a NS Kato C44-9w from the nose up to the top of the cab with the numberboards? If so, how did you do it and still have them light up? ------------------ Mike Drzycimski Arlington, TX The Southview Lines
I haven't done this, but I have thought about it. There are two ways as I see it..... 1. Use fiber optics. Patch up the nose headlights and put the headlights above the windsheild and light them with Fiber optics. This would be very tough though. 2. The esiar, but more expensive thing to do is use the Richmond Controls head lights. All you have to worry about this way is the wires getting smashed when the shell is put together and on the mech. But, like I said, this would be a lot esiar then the fiber optic way. See, wires are very flexible, but fiber optics are not! Once the fiber is broken, its done for and a replacement is needed. Good luck..... ------------------ Craig Martyn Best Looking Models Around Custom detailing AND N scale detail parts. BLMA N Scale Detail Parts BLMAinfo@aol.com
