Those couplers are definitely a bit off...

SOME of his caboose offerings do not look half bad. Some of them look pretty bad. Some of them look like they could be salvaged with a little work. He has a few other pieces that are alleged to be 'Jordan spreaders' that look just as awful as the one in the link.

I wonder where he gets his decals.

For a minute I thought that maybe he had started with a Japanese version of a snow dozer severely cut down. However looking at the underframe no way. I have seen some real junk put up for sale there that I wouldn't give to Deekus the Cat as a play toy much less even have contaminating my box of cars. I have created some total abortions in my time that all went into the trash can or had the parts salvaged and the rest tossed in the trash, but none that have looked as bad as this whatever. Whoever buys this needs a cane to navigate because their vision is that poor. Beside being tilted up in the air the plow front is so pitted with holes as to look like some cheap drywall compound was used to cast it and was never sanded. And what happened to the cab windows? Ahh I know this is the famous SP Blind Jordan. Do you somehow get the feeling that I wouldn't touch this with your money and your hands? Then you are right.

I've posted this guy in the past. Apparently someone made a cast Jordan spreader in the past and he is recasting off of a bad casting to make more...very badly. That's why there are no windows, the casting is solid. Still, one would think that he would spend the 5 seconds required to make the couplers look right and take a decent picture.

How about this wedge snow plow? I don't think SF had anything even remotely like it, let alone in blue and gold paint:

I've made castings from molds and I am far from having some of the talent that I have seen here on TB. But none of my worst castings have come out like that. They look like something that sat on a siding rusting away and full of pinholes until someone came along and threw a bucket of paint or two at them.

I have the kit that particular Jordan was originally from and it was way nicer than that.

I have one too , it can make a good looking model . Mine is made in Canada , assuming this is the one you are talking about.

    I really want the couplers...

I honestly thought the thing had been "whittled" - crudely - from a piece of wood.

That is the original kit, when done up it can look really nice (this isn't mine, I'm not quite done with it yet, I'm going with wire handrails out back):

This one is funny for several reasons...first, it's a 1:1 scale V8 motor listed in N scale/MicroTrains. Second, it has a mistake in the title saying 'Chevy It1 with TRAINS' (should say 'trans' for transmission). Third, says that the front seal leaks (but only when going down the road) but then states 'Does NOT burn oil'. Finally, shipping for a V8 motor and trans is $2.75
