Well for once I was able to report something to eBay since it was an obvious duplicate listing. Whatever effect that will have.
Sometimes lazy Sellers have duplicate old items, so recycle the same photo for all. This bothers me because if they're used, they'll not be exactly the same and we've all seen a lot of junk out there. Glad you mentioned it to eBay.
Which will proceed to do... absolutely nothing... I have reported the same seller for Keyword Spamming about 20 times already. I'm sure my reports have all been filed right next to the Ark of the Covenant. (If you do not get the above, please review the last scene of "Raiders of the Lost Ark." )
1- N Scale Locomotive Engine Steam Diesel Coal Tender Lot Mixed Parts Or Repair 1 | eBay at $200.00 2- N Scale Locomotive Engine Steam Diesel Coal Tender Lot Mixed Parts Or Repair 2 | eBay at $175.00 3- Con-Cor 17712 Locomotive Engine New In Box With Tender | eBay $113.00 < I could see it if both were powered .. see 3rd photo. Not sure of 1 and 2 . Tom
I've got the two you have interest in. But they are a brown with a yellow strip with WISCONSIN CENTRAL and emblem. #1230 & #1232. Only one is powered. Con-Cor DC.
What about the reveal of it from "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"? I kind of like the theory that that installment was actually an extended hallucination brought on by radiation sickness from the nuclear blast in the opening scenes.
Looking at this ebay post Con-Cor 17712 Locomotive Engine New In Box With Tender | eBay again, see photos 2 and 3 more at 2. If the seller states that photo is a Tender Where does one place the Coal ? I don't think this seller cannot identify Railroad Locomotives . Tom
All, Not quite ebay , worth a mention though. I saw on faceb.'s budget model railroading section I think someone got suckered in at an Antique Store for those Damned RD-READERS DIGEST freight Cars ! think he paid $6 for them . Tom
I heard there will be a vaccine soon for the Reader's Digest cars. Once you get vaccinated, it will automatically prevent you from buying them.
