Well that is about $9 cheaper than my favorite purveyor of things trains, but if it goes over $60 then that would be starting to be more than some of the discount folks.

Well, I just checked it again, $50 is more like it.

It was listed for $5000.00 when I first ran across it and posted it!

The best part of this is the description (after viewing the pictures)

"Good shape, but does have wear from age and use."

    Umm, yeah.

    Adam-

After reading between the lines, I translate their quoted statement as: "Look what I found buried in my back yard."

    Yikes.

I'm surprised he didn't describe it as an accurate model of a wrecked engine that has been carefully and professionally weathered using realistic techniques.

Ah. OK. Then we'd best get started with a very serious bidding war, right now! I scouted around under the car seat and found seven cents, so will open with that.

I wonder if he was able to type the item description without laughing? "In good shape, with some wear"...

Actually, I have an old diesel- not this one, that needs a part to make it run. If I see one of those in this condition/ at this price, I would write and ask if it runs, and if so, consider a bid...
