If it is old, it must be worth more. This person sells a lot of old stuff that he thinks is collectible.
I was ready to say that it's at least theoretically possible to get that price, but after seeing the photo (granting points for honesty there) and reading... Has the nose of one locomotive cut off?? ...I would have to see your "Seriously?" and raise you a "Really?" "VERY RARE to find one of these." I would say "somewhat unusual." They do show up from time to time.
Wow! The shipping is very reasonable, but I think I need to go through my old Christmas stuff and make some money. I can always use $300 LOL I just noticed that "2 available / 347 sold" and who says you can't get rich on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Village-Hou...694?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item462900239e
If that decimal isn't misplaced...... My yacht needs a new anchor. Guess I'll start digging in the basement. I must have a few million dollars downstairs in old Christmas decor.
@ 300.00 a bulb.... I have totes and totes of outdoor xmas lights my sons used to put up for the holidays. I could get that house I want so I could put THERR indoors !
I'm not even sure what it was for sale there. Or here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-N-Scal...474135?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item339bef28d7
Somebodies idea of a tender maybe? Or maybe a company car to deliver fuel either coal or oil to stations? Not sure what the idea was here.
Said it was made in Austria. Maybe theres a prototype for it? They said its rare....maney mistakes are
It might have been manufacturedin Austria. That is before it was 'customized' into something or other. It sold for 99 cents!
Nasty Shopper Here is an email from an ebay shopper, sort of a nasty shopper....

Dear (Name of seller removed), Good evening. Can that 'garbage' be washed off? I hope so! Of all the atrocities to perform on a car like this. This car was an experimental paint job, first seen at the shop ONLY. It wasn't out of Mot Haven yard one day (1958). weathered?/ (UGGHH) (Name of author removed)

Just ran across this: 6 train cars, no trucks, no boxes, can't even tell if some of them have an underframe. Clearly described in the heading and in the description that they are junk...but he still wants $20 + $8 shipping? http://www.ebay.com/itm/468-N-SCALE...913131?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item2c95ddf7eb http://www.ebay.com/itm/467-N-SCALE...913119?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item2c95ddf7df
And another: 5 old scrap Trix, Rapido, and Atlas engines, shells chewed up and paint missing, truck side frames missing, trucks missing...there's nothing that can be done with these at all. $35 + $8.83 shipping http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Gauge-Lot...396042?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item51cb041f8a
It appears to be a 5X12 layout with HO and N scale trains and a bunch of REALLY SMALL (smaller than Z) stadium models (16 Sports Collector's Guild Gold Series stadiums). Track doesn't work in one direction, it doesn't include any of the trains and local pickup only...$15,000, yep that's what I said. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Buil...204663?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item3cf168a477
Just another person having delusions of grandeur. It might sell the same day we learn that Martians have landed in Miami. If it was parted out, might bring in a few dollars. Otherwise it is essentially worthless, as seen here.
This one may be pushing the limit that I have seen for highest price for a single car. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kadee-MT-25...198519?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item5d5497e237
I should be able to get $40,000...$50,000 for THERR RV easy. Do I have to have a PayPal account to sell on FeeBay ?? :teeth:
PGE: This car has been listed forever and still hasn't sold (or come down in price): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kadee-MT-31...196738?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item5d5497db42
