I'm back in the model railroad world after taking 1 year to build a full scale R2-D2. So here is a look at my first model railroad project in 1 year. I have been trying to squeeze as much modeling into what space I have. I have a medium sized basement that my railroad occupies roughly 90% of. In some places the right of way narrows down to a mere 6 inches wide. But even then there is a chance to model something. In the section we will be looking at the right of way is 8 inches wide. I had a short bridge laying around. So after much thought where I could use the bridge I found a spot on a narrow section of right of way. The upper level cross the trestle that hangs down over the lower main line. Then the lower main line was enclosed with portholes at each end. I still have a lot of work to do before I can call this seen finished but here is what I have so far. :)

Eight inches in N scale starts to seem narrow. In G, wow. Tight!
