Recently, I purchased through Micro-Mark, the computer software program "Model Builder". I'm just getting started with it, but you can print out a stored design, or you can design your own building. t can use several different building materials, and has a good selection of doors, windows, and roofing materials. I don't think I want to use it for free standing buildings (except as background), but it has a huge potential for building flats along the backdrop. Has anybody else tried this program, and what building have you created...
I bought it to make "temporary" mock-ups. It does buildings well enough to make stand-ins for my future models. Since I model in Scale55 and 55n3 most of my buildings will have to be scratched or bashed so I can produce a scale building quickly. I really like it. What is Scale55 and 55n3 visit: http://www.55n3.org/ The program produces building paper as good as the commercial products. The shingles look good enough to use on a finished model. Thank you if you visit Harold
I purchased a copy of it years ago with the plan of making buildings for my layout. I went out and purchased a bunch of kits, so I never worked with the program much and now am thinking about using it to make background buildings. Gary
Here are the shingles in HO scale cutout and just placed on a modified Atlas Trackside Shanty: They really look good. Harold
