Wanted to say hello. 'Hello !' Am currently getting back into model railroading. Use to have a large layout about 15 years ago. After moving 'and having kids' sent my items into a box... I'm starting to dig them back out. Don't have enough room for an entire layout at this time so I am building mods. First one is my roundhouse and railroad HQ complex. Anyway... it's good to be here and look forward to getting to know some of you and enjoying your posts.
Welcome aboard!! I went through thew busy with the kid era also. Now all have left the nest and I have the new house with the fullbasement full of trains. You are at the best spot for trains!

I have to say that my current era would be more modern as the few engines I have left are from different times in history. As I grow, I'm looking to do more steam at first. I'm really looking to work off of my own road name for a-while so I painted my engines black so I'd at least have matching color on the power in the roundhouse. My road name is CD&W 'Col's Desert & Western'. As I grow I'll add some lines that operate mainly from CO to all points S & E.
