Last I knew there were two MKT cabooses (cabeese?) in Neodosha, KS. They were sitting on blocks beside the former FRISCO main and just southeast of the former FRISCO yard. If memory serves correctly they were both in John Deere green. Fair shape.

There's an extened vision MKT caboose sitting in St. Charles, MO. on the waterfront. It's in decent shape, and parked with an older "sloped" crows nest caboose. I'm not sure what road it's from though. It's nice to see someone from LA., I've lived in Baton Rouge and Monroe for a while. Have you ever had any dealings with BatoN Rouge N-Trak? It was my first N-Trak club, get bunch of folks!

Last I knew, there were several cabooses in
various paint schemes in a salvage yard in
Neodesha, KS- including a Western Pacific crummy. Don't know if they're still there or not, as it's been several years.
You may know this, but there are several
MKT cabooses, plus the 83C (the blind-cab F
unit) in front of the Katy depot in Denison,
TX. While you're there, tune into KMKT, a local country & western station (Katy Country, get it?).

I don't remember which town it is in but in Northeastern Oklahoma - just about a mile South of the Kansas border - there is an MKT caboose in a little park at the town crossroads. I would have to look at my map and try to remember which town it is for you.

Hmmmm......could be Quapaw, Picher, or Welch.
There's a mining museum in Picher, with a couple of BN cabeese on display. Up in Galena, KS, there's a Whitcomb switcher and caboose outside a museum (ex-Katy depot) along old US66. DOwn in Chetopa, the Katy depot and a caboose are seen alongside US69
about a mile north of the I-40 interchange.
Ft. Smith's trolley museum has a Katy caboose, troop sleeper and diner.
Kinda wandered, but some really nice places to check out Katy rolling stock.
