Mike called me today, and heres the kind of guy he is......with all he has been going through, he called me, to see if Kimberly and I were OK because he was watching the weather channel and storms and tornados are in our area. Thats a true friend, and shows his real character. He still couldnt hold the phone himself, his mother was holding it. He did say he is feeling a little better and if all goes well, they will move him Monday and try and start him on some therapy. Keep Praying for our very Good Friend!
Thanks for the update Jerry. We will keep praying for Mike's recovery and that these storms don't have any ill affects on you and your family. So far, it's just been rain and strong thunderstorms here but I can see why Mike is worried, the weather channel is really stressing that the threat for it to get worse is very high.

Jerry, thanks for the update on Mike, I'm praying that he improves quickly and significantly. As for your weather, most of what you're seeing came through here overnight and this morning, fortunately 30-50 miles north of us. The actual front isn't expected to pass for another 3-4 hours, but that should be fairly calm in comparison by the looks of the radar...I hope!
Let Mike know how many friends are praying for him. I know him from another forum. I'm glad to hear he's doing better. Thanks for keeping us posted and take care of yourself. You southerers have had some really bad and dangerous weather.
Surgery is never any fun and I wish you (Mike) a speedy and complete recovery so that you can get back to what you like doing the most in life!!!!!!!
I spoke several times to Mike today, and he told me he will be going home on the 16th. He's is at 10% right now, but is very excited to be there. He really misses everyone here and can't wait to get back on and say hello. It may take him awhile before he can use a key board on his own, but he will be on as soon as he is able. He will be moving in with his parents so they can help take care of him during this time, so he is leaving his apt and will have to have his layout cut into three pieces. It will be reassembled at his moms in a slightly different configuration with some new additions, so we can all look forward to that. Keep our friend in your prayers! They have been working so far.
I am so glad to hear that, JD, I was wondering how he was doing. I'm going to keep sending prayers and good thoughts his way, so maybe we can hear from him soon.
