Folks, I would like to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and to offer a few words of thanks. Thank you to our staff members. They work very hard to make this place function on a daily basis. The countless hours they volunteer are uncountable and it is very much appreciated. Thank you to our advertisers. Our advertisers are our partners and their support means that we continue to exist on a dedicated server and our bills are paid on time. Please support our advertisers! Thank you to our financial supporters. The additional funds contributed to the site by members are needed funds and the fact that people are willing to give means more to us than we can say. Every supporter pays the way of several members. Thank you to our members. Your presence here and the help that you give each other is really what TrainBoard is all about. Making friends and furthering the things that interest those who are here is the goal of TrainBoard, and without that, there would be no reason to be here. As for me, some of you might have noticed that I have been pretty silent of late. My wife has a complex medical situation that keeps us on the road to doctor's offices, etc. I am battling some personal illness right now as well, although I expect to make a full recovery in short order. Likewise, a major ice storm in Maine has left us without power for sometime now and that is slowing me down this week. As we move forward from today, we wish each and every one of you (and your families) health, happiness and for the ability to enjoy model railroading and railfanning throughout 2014. We have some new things that we would like to accomplish this coming year to enhance the site, and another special run percolating as well. Merry Christmas! Charlie
Santa was seen in our neighborhood wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May it be the best. Remember the reason for the season...is TRAINS. What else? To Charlie and your family, may good health be the package you get to open this Christmas Season.
