Does anyone have any updates as to the condition of this locomotive? I know it was in the process of being restored and that a portion of the MEDCO logging line was to be rebuilt, but I haven't heard any updates about it. Thanks
I'm not familiar with what might be happening. Do you have any more background on this restoration? I hope it has not suffered the fate of so many, and lost momentum. Or worse? :sad: Boxcab E50
As far as I know the group is making slow but steady progress on getting the #4 back up and running. I have seen some occassional updates on some other forums, especially by Tony Johnston (one of the leaders of the group). I do not know how much progress they are making on having a place to run the locomotive once it is operational. Jeff Moore Elko, NV
