During my exile to Gallup this summer, I took a day off to chase the BNSF's ex-Santa Fe line east toward Grants, when I found a junk freight with this car: One of a number of covered hoppers delivered in late 1980 to the Frisco in Cascade Green colors, in anticipation of the merger with BN. Lettering is still original.A bit grungy, but still rolling. Oh yeah, this train also had a Ferromex Dash-9 in the lashup, but since this is a FRISCO forum, who cares.........
